Transformation is a process, not an event.

Vita

Dr. Claudia Langen knows from first-hand experience which management levers truly drive profound change. Today, as an organizational consultant, she draws on her expertise from previous professional roles: After an M&A-intensive period, shaped by KPIs, at Bertelsmann’s Executive Office, connected with Business Development Consulting in the group companies, Claudia moved to the Bertelsmann Foundation to develop and manage educational reform initiatives. She then served as Managing Director, building the philanthropic activities of the business-owning Reimann family from the ground up.

For the past 15 years, Claudia has been advising organizations on strategy development and complex change processes, as well as supporting CEOs and board members through executive sparring sessions. Her areas of focus at Metaplan include transformations in family-owned businesses and the municipal sector, particularly in the financial and energy industries – organizations where ownership structures and local engagement require special attention, and where transformation is linked with tradition.

Personal interests

Claudia appreciates Hamburg’s vibrant cultural scene, but equally enjoys visiting other beautiful corners of Europe. This pairs well with her passion for sports, often combined with spending time with her adult sons.
