What the role is about
During your first year, you will complete our qualification program “Leading and Consulting in Discourse.”
You will support our clients in the Life Sciences practice as they tackle complex undertakings and work through their planning and strategy processes. In doing so, clients develop a deeper understanding of how their organization functions as a social system — and how to lead it more effectively. They also develop a sharper understanding of their customers’ organizations within the healthcare system as social systems.
You will analyze the mindsets of internal stakeholders and external market partners. You will lead discourses among the relevant actors, bringing their diverging interests and perspectives into the open. Together with clients, you will design processes that lead to sound decisions.
You will work within a team of colleagues with diverse areas of expertise, varied industry backgrounds, and a wide range of life experience — in a work environment that values both independent, goal-oriented work and a reasonable work-life balance.
What you bring
You are intellectually curious and possess strong analytical abilities.
You hold a university degree whose scope reached beyond the core subject matter. You enjoy engaging with complex questions.
You have at least two years of professional experience, preferably including early leadership responsibility in larger organizations. You have worked inside larger companies or corporate groups and have experienced firsthand that the social reality of organizations is multilayered and thoroughly shaped by micropolitics.
You find it natural to analyze the interests and mindsets of different stakeholders — and to put yourself in their shoes. You have a situational sense for power dynamics and relationships of trust within organizations, and you can communicate at eye level with people across all levels of the hierarchy.
You are fluent in both German and English at a professional negotiating level — ideally with proficiency in a third language as well.
You demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills. Your linguistic and cultural sensitivity has been deepened through extended time spent abroad.
You have a genuine interest in substantive and academic topics in the research-based pharmaceutical industry and healthcare sector. You have a strong aptitude for decoding specialized discourses. You don’t shy away from unfamiliar territory, and you have a pronounced ability to identify underlying connections and distill core arguments.
