Vita

Lars Gaede (born 1981) is a social scientist and graduate journalist. After a journalistic career at Die Zeit, Wired and Deutsche Welle, among others, he founded “Work Awesome,” a conference series on the future of work in New York and Berlin. Since 2019, he has been consulting at Metaplan on topics such as culture design, leadership, innovation, new organizational operating systems, and business models. He also designs and curates digital and analog learning and discourse formats for various German and international clients.

Personal interests

As a reporter, Lars Gaede has met drug dealers undercover, traveled with hobos on freight trains across the Rocky Mountains, and had himself buried alive in a South Korean temple. Now he is happy to devote himself to an even more exciting adventure: life in (and the life of) organizations.
