Tobias studied psychology in Göttingen and developed an early interest in occupational and organizational psychology. He is particularly fascinated by how teams are structured, how they work together, and what conditions enable groups to reach their potential—or prevent them from doing so. Questions about groupthink, hidden profiles, and collective decision-making logic accompany him, as does his interest in designing framework conditions that enable genuine collaboration. This curiosity ultimately led him to Metaplan: with the desire not only to understand organizations and their social dynamics in theory, but also to provide practical support in making their collaboration more effective.
Personal interests
When Tobias isn’t trying to keep his first tennis balls in the court or hanging out with friends, he’s drawn to the dance floor. For many years, he was part of a contest team with which he traveled throughout Germany to various competitions. This joy of creating something together is also reflected in his political engagement. Starting in a party youth organization at the age of 14 and joining the party at 16, politics has been a major part of his life so far.
