Melanie Blake is a consultant at Metaplan, where she supports teams in pharmaceutical organizations to create strategic alignment and develop strategies to promote effective, meaningful change. As a key driver of analytics, Melanie develops and evaluates bespoke client surveys and collects insights from in-depth qualitative interviews in order to pinpoint the underlying issues and identify overarching trends. She is particularly interested in the areas of organizational culture, change, and leadership. Melanie has worked with Metaplan clients on a variety of topics, including brand and tactical planning, launch readiness, strategic planning for evidence generation, team effectiveness, and organizational vision development.
Before joining Metaplan, Melanie worked in learning and development at Goldman Sachs, supporting global leadership development and diversity & inclusion programs. During her graduate studies, she completed internships with Viacom-Nickelodeon and MTA Metro-North Railroad, supporting change management, talent development, and group dynamics projects. Melanie holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Personal interests
Melanie enjoys going to Broadway musicals and seeing regional theater whenever possible. In her free time, she finds inspiration watching baking shows and enjoys taking on her own baking challenges in the kitchen. Whether successful or unsuccessful, she considers it all a continuous learning process.
