Vita
Julian Blanz studied medicine at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, where he also completed his training as a specialist in anaesthesiology and worked as an emergency physician in out-of-hospital emergency care. For his doctorate, he evaluated an interactive support device for use in resuscitation situations.
In addition to his clinical work, Julian was part of the HR team and dealt with topics such as interprofessional collaboration, work-life balance and the management and training of employees.
Parallel to his specialist training, he completed the part-time MBA course “Sustainable Corporate Management” at Leuphana University Lüneburg, which he completed with a thesis on strategic HR management.
Personal interests
Whenever possible, Julian meets up with friends to cook and play cards. If he’s more in the mood for exercise, he goes bouldering. Julian likes to travel and tries to capture beautiful places and moments with his camera. Sometimes he succeeds more or less well.
