Paul Cannata

But if there is a sense of reality (…), then there must also be something that can be called a sense of possibility (…) Thus the sense of possibility could be defined precisely as the ability to think everything that could just as well be and not to take what is more important than what is not.

Robert Musil

The Man Without Qualities, 1957

Vita

Paul Cannata (born 1996) found his way to Metaplan via an aborted degree in Philosophy, Cultural Reflection & Cultural Practice at the University of Witten/Herdecke and a completed Bachelor in Sociology, Politics & Economics at Zeppelin University. His enthusiasm for the complex interrelationship between actor & structure within organizations and their strategic direction sparked during his time as a staff member of a state political party as well as a non-profit political start-up to increase youth voter participation.

Personal interests

When Paul is not exploring the cultural, café and restaurant scenes between Hamburg and Cologne, he enjoys traveling across Europe or discussing the latest do-gooder plans at long dinner tables with friends. Otherwise, he sinks between the covers of books on sociology, philosophy or fiction. On his voyage of discovery for new books, he likes to linger in the antiquarian bookshops and bookstores of the country.
