Vita
Thomas Schmidt studied history and sociology with a focus on organizational sociology at the University of Osnabrück and joined Metaplan in 2022. As a tutor, he provided students with knowledge of sociological theory as well as the techniques of scientific work. In addition, he gained some experience in the book trade as an assistant to the management. In his final theses, he dealt with the spread of diversity management and most recently investigated the problems of shitstorm management in the gaming industry.
Personal interests
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys reading horror and adventure novels as well as works by forgotten and/or misunderstood sociologists. In addition, he likes to travel to remote places within and outside of Germany, only to wonder afterwards about the local peculiarities of the people in his own homeland.
