We lose ourselves in what we read, only to return to ourselves, transformed and part of a more expansive world.

Vita

Lene Baumgart (born 1994) studied organizational sociology in Bielefeld. Her path at Metaplan started in 2019 with an internship and led via strategy and structure consulting to today’s research and consulting of public sector organizations. In addition to her work at the Metaplan Institute for Administrative Innovation, she is researching and completing her doctorate at the University of Potsdam on the digitization of and in organizations. She is particularly interested in the challenges associated with it, its consequential problems and the connection with post-bureaucratic organizational concepts.

Personal Interests

When Lene isn’t knitting or pottering on the wheel, she’s training for city runs and obstacle races or running up the ski jumps of Europe. She loves to cook, garden on the balcony, sit in cafes alone or with friends, and ride her bike through the summer nights of Berlin.
