The best people leave, innovations get stuck, the new strategy is ignored or an organizational reform has failed – there are many reasons why organizations recognize their own culture as a problem. What follows is the call for change. But this is easier said than done, because a new culture cannot be “rolled out”, proclaimed by mission statement or even instructed.
What is needed instead is a clear understanding of what organizational culture actually is, how to actually get to the bottom of the culture in your own organization – and what is needed to work on the obstructive cultural phenomena and strengthen the beneficial ones.
Together with you and your peers, we want to explore how exactly this works and put it into practice. We will discuss this in a very pleasant setting over coffee and croissants:
- What exactly is organizational culture?
- How can not only cultural phenomena themselves be analyzed – but also their specific functions for the organization?
- How can the culture of your own organization be cleverly influenced?
