“I don’t have a peephole. I am part of the world.”
Heinz von Foerster
Maximilian Matthias Locher studied economics at Zeppelin University and ethics & organization at Witten/Herdecke University. Study and work stays led Maximilian to Kuala Lumpur, Edinburgh and Princeton. He gained professional experience in a human resources consultancy, at a manufacturer of construction materials, a wholesale company, and a foundation. Maximilian has been working at Metaplan since 2014. To this day, he is fascinated by the potential that a well-moderated discourse can unleash, even though this rarely happens in organizations. At the University of Witten/Herdecke, he gives seminars and is researching the digitalization of medium-sized production in a project. His dissertation deals with media changes in organizations.
Because he grew up in the Ruhr area, Maximilian suffers weekends with the VfL Bochum soccer club. In his free time he likes to swim and play the saxophone.
