Vita

Benedikt Ewald studied Philosophy (M.A.) and Biophysics (M.Sc.) in Munich. In his search for innovative methods of effective collaboration he joined the HPI School of Design Thinking in Potsdam shortly after, where he subsequently learned, taught and researched Design Thinking for several years. As a freelancer, he accompanied many a innovation, transformation and leadership development projects in a variety of organizations ranging from startups to federal agencies and international corporates. Most recently he helped establish a new transformation consultancy in Berlin. With Metaplan since 2022, he is fascinated by organizational analysis, post-bureaucratic organizing and strategy development. Benedikt is a passionate teacher and learner, e.g., as an adjunct professor at the FOM Berlin and as a PhD candidate of organizational psychology.

Personal Interests

Benedikt is a competitive amateur martial artist (BJJ blue belt) and generally up for any sportive activity (yoga, bouldering, surfing, snow sports – you name it). He loves to explore the world via literature, travel and cuisine with friends & family, but equally enjoys to whip up a meal for them at home.
