The world partly becomes — comes to be — how it is imagined.

Vita

Adrian Strothotte studied history and political science in Bielefeld. Before he found his way to Metaplan in 2022, he worked as a research assistant in the field of digital history and as a cultural journalist. His view of organizations was shaped not only by reading (organizational) sociological works, but also by experience at an automotive company and in the media industry.

Adrian Strothotte is a member of a research team at the University of Bielefeld that is investigating the organizational form of Holacracy. An anthology article he wrote in this context on the interaction of purpose and self-organization is currently being published.

Personal interests

When Adrian is not working, he is usually watching or doing theater. His interest in performing arts has taken him from numerous youth ensemble premieres to readings (including at Bethel and Bielefeld’s Rudolf Oetker Hall) to a first small production planned for next year. In addition, he enjoys spending his free time climbing and hiking.
