Goals and
Objectives
Participants learn the Metaplan moderation method for
efficiently guiding groups by evaluating problems or
issues and by creating an environment that elicits
contributions and commitment from all members. These
elements are essential for successfully developing ideas
and solutions. Participants will acquire the key skills
and techniques for:
- Structuring discussions to effectively guide meeting
direction, focusing on primary issues while
efficiently managing time
- Creating interactive participation to elicit as much
input as possible from all attendees
- Generating questions that stimulate controversy,
agreement or contradiction in order to unfold and
clarify the complexity of issues and to uncover the
wide spectrum of opinions
- Leading discussions to results and translating ideas
into action steps

PrerequisitesIn order to get the most
out of the program, we recommend that trainees begin
with the base training ‘Prepare and Lead Meetings
