Goals and Objectives
In order to moderate
complex issues, it is essential to recognize and guide a
group through barriers, gridlocks and resistance.
Often, these obstacles develop because of strong
opinions and group dynamics, established ways of
thinking, organizational structures, or group patterns,
etc.. This training program provides advanced
techniques to reach group alignment by:
- Clarifying divergent points of view
by
detecting established mindsets of different groups
and individuals
- Questioning thought patterns to build bridges of
understanding
- Addressing unwritten rules that may lead to
obstacles and even gridlocks in the organization
- Bringing questions which are often avoided or worked
around to the forefront so that participants can
confront the real issues
- Leading the discussion to ‘blind spots’ in order to
broaden the participants’ perspectives

Prerequisites
In order to get the most
out of the program, we recommend that trainees begin
with the base training ‘Prepare and Lead Meetings
Successfully’ before enrolling in other seminars.
