Members of the supervisory board, the president of
the university, directors, deans and faculty members
(16 people) developed new, updated educational programs
which could potentially increase the number of applications
to the university.

The 45 executives and managers of a newly-assembled
real estate group reached a common understanding of
what each unit could expect of the other, which elements
needed to be taken into consideration and how others
could be of use in favor of one’s own intentions.
Executives and directors of every HTU firm are developing
proposals for a new cooperative effort within the business
consortium (140 people) in order to venture into new
markets. Conflicts of interest which would need to be
managed were made clear to them.
During a strategy development process which lasted
several months, the members of the group board and the
executives of 7 grinding-machine producers debated over
business possibilities outside of the traditional framework.
In the end, a willingness to make the first steps into
new territory was reached.
During meetings with 32 members of the honorary self-government,
a course for cooperative negotiations with other regional
agencies was developed. Opinion-forming conferences
and a general assembly which was attended by almost
all 900 employees led to shared understanding.
This division is the result of a merger between 2 business
units. Within only a few months, a common vision was
reached by 100 managers, and has since been taken up
by 800 further managers of the worldwide operating division.
The
project dealt with the introduction of a reward system
for cost-saving ideas. There was some uncertainty which
expert knowledge alone could not do away with. The project
leaders hopes were set on an agreement; the questions
were discussed with members of the work council. At
5:30 p.m. the workshop ended and an agreement had been
reached.

Pipes for oil and gas pipelines are being produced
in their German and French plants. 22 managers from
both countries agreed on new approaches needed to maintain
a firm hold of the market. The discourse was held in
English, and at times also in German and French.
